as far as i'm aware...he's talking bull crap. you have no control over it and i've not heard of any plug-ins that simulate mixing abilities on iTunes.

Yes, in preferences you can select the end and beginning of tracks to crossfade between the two anywhere from 1 to 30 seconds but that's it.

I don't know what the heck DJ Action Kenneth was trying to say, but DJ-1800 is a DJ studio for Macs that uses iTunes as it's song database. It features stuff like auto bpm detection, timewarping/pitch lock, and some other stuff:
