At this point in time, a would go for the installation of your webcam has affected the drivers of your soundcard.

Look under the device manager and select, either, ‘Update Drivers’ or ‘Roll-back Driver’.

If that doesn’t work, and assuming you’re using Windows XP, try clicking ‘Start’ >> ‘Help & Support’ >> and under ‘Pick A Task…’ select ‘System Restore’.

Your machine should have made a Restore Point before you installed the webcam, roll your system back to before you installed it (preferrably the day before) and just restore it. If you feel un-settled by restoring your system to an earlier date, do not worry, you can reverse those kind of changes.

But anyway, please be as specific as you can be when asking a question like this.
