Hi everyone, it's been a little while since we made any forum site news announcements. This one's just to say that we're really pleased to announce that anyone whose has a soundcloud account can now directly embed tracks straight into the forum posts for the TEST PRESSINGS and the MASHUP and Dj MIXES forum categories. Sorry this is a bit late, but all the good things come to those who wait eventually

I hope you will all enjoy a few more downloads this month and put them all to very good creative use.

I know a lot of you have got up and coming gigs etc. and a few more downloads will always help ensure you get the best material for your set.

This is just a trial and we want to see how the server behaves too I don't want to cause any unnecessary grief to my sysadmin (*waves @ pdu*)

p.ps If you follow us on Twitter you'd have known about this news sooner ;) some come, follow us, it's also where we always announce all the new acapellas as and when they are added to the ever growing extensive collection we have.

We've fixed a little gremlin in the system tonight (well pdu & acapella did) which was basically meant the 'Password Reminder' link from the main menu wasn't behaving as it should have done.

This has now been altered, tested and this is the part where we are pro-active and inform all the members who may have been battling with this recently.

Apologies, but this is what being in 'BETA' mode's all about. And on that note, please, if you do find any issues, no matter how minor you think they may be, please either PM a member of staff or better still, click on the 'Contact Us' link in the main menu and leave a new post inside the feedback forum. As always, please provide as much info. as possible

A few have commented on some performance drops since the new site launch, we're working on improving the code in the background to keep things nice and speedy for everyone, but in the mean time, we've just upgraded to a newer, bigger, better and much faster server. For those with a technical interest, the new server is a quad core intel xeon 2.8ghz with 12mb of cache, 8gb of ram and we've upgraded to a 1 gigabit connection to help you get those acapellas even faster than before.

I've given the site a good test overnight (it's 8am here now, not been to bed yet) and everything I've tested looks good, but naturally with upgrades there are often a few niggles, if you find any, please don't hesitate to give me a shout
